Limitation of liability and disclaimers

  1. The content on this site is in no way intended to be an official representation of the examinations you will be sitting. It is intended to act as a tool, to aid your study and check your understanding.
  2. Every effort has been made to ensure that the questions listed are accurate and in line with the syllabus for your course of study and the main textbook. Fortica Ltd can accept no responsibility for any loss caused by errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may be found. We do not in any way guarantee that use of this site will meet your expectations or lead to any particular result in your course of study
  3. None of the relevant examining bodies have provided endorsement of the content of this site. Fortica Ltd is an independent organisation and is not connected to the Chartered Insurance Institute or other relevant body.

The names “Certificate in Financial Planning”, "Certificate in Financial Administration" and “Diploma in Financial Planning” and “Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning” and the titles of the examinations are the sole property of the Chartered Insurance Institute and in many cases subject to their trademarks. For the avoidance of doubt, although ExamAngel may refer to areas of the syllabus and course books, this in no way represents an endorsement of ExamAngel by the Chartered Insurance Institute. Furthermore, ExamAngel should not be taken as replacing but rather as complementing the range of Chartered Insurance Institute study material.
  3. The copyright for all content on this site including questions, answers, explanations, code and graphics is owned by Fortica Ltd, notwithstanding the aforementioned rights of the Chartered Insurance Institute. You may not reproduce or copy any content without the prior written permission of Fortica Ltd.

Your use of our website

  1. You must be over 18 years of age to use this site.
  2. By paying the applicable fee, you will be given personal non-exclusive access to the resources of ExamAngel applicable to your membership level. Where you have purchased a single subject, your access will be for the period of six months. Where you have purchased the multiple subject package, you will be given to access to the applicable subjects for nine months. We reserve the right to terminate your account by paying a full refund of your fee at any point and we will not be liable to you for any impact this may have upon your study.
  3. You may not print any of the content of this site nor may you copy, reproduce, post, transmit or otherwise distribute any of the content of the ExamAngel site.
  4. The fees charged for use of this site are per user. You will be given your own user name and password. In the event that we suspect a single username and password is being used by multiple students, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the account and prevent further access to the site.
  5. The content of this site is purely for the benefit of candidates studying for examinations. The data contained within this site, whether in questions, explanations or threads found in the discussion forum is intended purely for study purposes and should NOT be regarded as constituting advice or the basis for giving advice
  6. You may not frame or link to this website without our express permission
  7. In using the discussion forum, you agree to do so only in an appropriate manner and:
    1.  not to post any content that may be regarded as, defamatory, abusive, insulting, threatening or to the detriment of the legal or moral rights of others
    2. not to publish any material that might be regarded as illegal or obscene
    3. not to attempt to use the forum as a means to sell or advertise products or services
  8. If, at any time, we regard content on the discussion forum as being inappropriate, we reserve the right to remove it without notice and where repeated or serious breaches occur we reserve the right to terminate your access to the site.

Purchasing goods or services

  1. By submitting your information in respect of purchasing our services, you are confirming the accuracy of this information. In submitting your payment you are in turn expressing your agreement to these terms and conditions
  2. As in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your purchase of our service within seven days of making the purchase. To cancel your membership, you should Contact us. Your right to cancel will expire on the seventh working day after you make your purchase. No such refund shall be available where tests have been taken and your taking tests shall be deemed to be acceptance of our service. Any reimbursement shall be made within 30 days of your cancellation.

Site access

  1. We reserve the right to withdraw all or part of this site at any time.
  2. Whilst every effort will be made to maintain the smooth running of our service, from time to time there may be unavoidable issues which necessitate our suspending the service or prevent you from accessing the site.
  3. We may need to periodically withdraw our service for essential maintenance. We will make every endeavour to ensure that any such disruption is minimised.
  4. For the avoidance of doubt, you will not have any right to claim for breach of contract or other claims in respect of such non-availability

Personal data

  1. When you visit our site, we may be provided with two types of information:
